　　In 2016, Jinmin Mining Group collaborated with research institutions including Beijing University of Science and Technology, China ENFI Engineering & Technology Co., Ltd., Changsha Institute of Mining Research Co., Ltd., Northeastern University, and the Beijing General Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy to undertake a sub‑project under the first batch of key R&D programs launched during the 13th Five-Year Plan: “Key Technologies for Shaft Construction and Hoisting in Deep‑Level Metal Mines.” Specifically, the group was tasked with developing an eight‑rope hoist—a critical component of this sub‑project—focusing on high‑capacity, high‑speed hoisting equipment and advanced control technologies. This project has addressed the longstanding bottleneck in deep‑level hoisting at China’s metal mines, secured a leading position in the high‑end hoisting equipment market, and broken the long‑standing monopoly held by foreign multinational corporations. It is poised to become Jinmin Mining Group’s largest driver of economic growth, significantly bolstering the company’s market competitiveness.
