Development
Jinzhou Mining Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jinmin), formerly known as Jinzhou Mining Machinery Factory, boasts nearly 70 years of distinguished history.
Founded in 1949, it is a large state-owned enterprise.
In 1950, China’s first hoisting winch was manufactured.
In 1954, China’s first ore‑raking winch was manufactured.
In September 1959, during his inspection visit to Jinzhou, Chairman Zhu De personally inscribed the words “August 1st Metalworking Workshop” to recognize and encourage the Jinzhou Mining Bureau for its tremendous contributions to the development of the People’s Republic of China’s defense industry.
In 1964, China’s first distance-controlled rake‑type mine winch was developed.
In May 1980, the CPC Central Committee, the State Council, and the Central Military Commission issued a congratulatory telegram, commending the successful development of a marine hydraulic folding‑arm crane for retrieving missile casings by Jinmin Mine.
In 1983, the rake‑mining winch technology and production capacity of Jin Mine were internationally leading.
In May 2005, Jinzhou Mining Machinery Factory underwent a comprehensive restructuring and reorganization, and was renamed Jinzhou Mining Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd.
In 2012, China’s first 5-meter single-drum hoist was developed, featuring 10 nationally patented technologies.
In 2014, China’s first maintenance-free, next-generation depth indicator was developed.
In 2017, the first domestically produced 21 MPa ultra-high-pressure hoisting‑braking system was developed.
For many years, Jinmin has maintained a leading position in China’s hoisting and winch industries, thanks to its world-class technology, superior quality, and unwavering reputation.
