Multi-rope friction hoists for shafts and mines are classified by installation type into tower‑type and floor‑mounted types, and are primarily used in coal, metal, and non‑metallic mines to lift and lower materials, personnel, and equipment. Our company manufactures multi‑rope friction hoists in a wide range of specifications, with diameters from 1.85 to 6 meters, maximum static tension differentials of 25 to 420 kN, and maximum hoisting speeds of 5 to 16 m/s. These hoists are available in configurations featuring 4 to 6 ropes, with either direct coupling between the main motor and the drive shaft or connection via a reduction gear, and are offered in both tower‑type and floor‑mounted designs.
