JKM-4.5×6 (IV) Tower-Type Multi-Rope Friction Hoist

In January 2014, after five years of technical collaboration, Jinmin Group and the Czech company INCO delivered three JKM‑4.5×6 (IV) tower-type multi‑rope friction hoists specially designed for the Tianxing Iron Mine of Hebei Iron and Steel Group Mining Co., Ltd. These hoists feature low‑speed direct‑drive dual‑motor traction, with each motor rated at 3,500 kW; the equipment’s maximum static tension is 1,330 kN, and its lifting speed can reach 13.9 m/s. Equipped with an imported INCO brake control system, the project has attained world‑class standards.

This project involves a complete set of JKM‑4.5×6 (Type IV) multi‑rope friction hoisting equipment, which consists of a synchronous AC motor and a main shaft assembly. The system is gearless, with the friction sheave’s main shaft directly coupled to the motor. It is driven by a low‑speed AC synchronous motor operating at 59 r/min, with a rated power of 2 × 3,500 kW. The braking system employs disc brakes, while the medium‑high pressure constant‑deceleration hydraulic station operates at 14 MPa.

1.3 The complete set of equipment for the multi-rope friction hoist consists of three subsystems: the mechanical system, the hydraulic system, and the electrical system.

1.3.1 The technical specifications of this hoist’s main shaft fully comply with the requirements of European hoist standards.

1.3.2 The spindle and the motor rotor’s inner bore adopt a tapered sleeve interference-fit direct‑connection structure.

1.3.3 The friction wheel adopts a split-type structure. (Proprietary patent ZL No.)

1.3.4 The spindle bearing is an imported SKF double-row spherical roller bearing, and the spindle lubrication is provided by a fully automatic lubrication system.

1.3.5 Hydraulic System: Primarily composed of a disc-type brake… It consists of an actuator, a constant-deceleration high-pressure hydraulic station, the system’s oil circuit, and system sensors.

1.3.6 Constant-Deceleration Medium- and High-Pressure Hydraulic Station It features comprehensive safety monitoring and protection functions, including hydraulic valve status detection, braking deceleration measurement, brake shoe wear monitoring, and spring fatigue assessment. Additionally, it incorporates heating and cooling systems with constant-temperature control.

1.3.7 Electrical System: Primarily comprises an intelligent electrical control system for large-scale mine hoists and an AC–DC–AC drive system.
